Patient Eligibility


•	The package is applicable for elective, uncomplicated patients. Patients with the following conditions are considered to be complex or high risk cases and will not qualify for the package : *Blending Disorders* Patients with underlying severe medical problems that required additional treatment and investigation including, but not limited to HIV and uncontrolled diabetes.

About the Procedure

Preoperative Condition	:Wide alar base, hanging or excess alar wing
Anesthesia	: Local under sedation
Surgical Planning	:This operation can be done as a sole operation or in conjunction with nose augmentation
Surgical Procedure	:
Result	:A better shape of the nostril is achieved.
Postoperative Care	: Apply cold compression over both periorbital area for 48 hours. : Take more water and liquid food for at least 48 hours. : Avoid smoking, alcoholic intake until the wound completely heals.
Road to Recovery	: A certain degree of swelling will persist for a week. The maximal swelling will be within 48 hours. While mild to moderate degree of pain can be remedied with simple oral analgesia.

Risk


	Lower blepharoplasty is not complicated operation. Most of patients are satisfied with the result. Though there may be a small number of cases which complication and undesirable result might arise such as bleeding, hematoma, asymmetry,prominent incisional scar and ectropion of lower eyelid ( scar pulling or weakness of lower eyelid sling causing incomplete closure of lower eyelid.)

Prepare for Surgery


•	Send your e-photo scan for 3 views, the frontal, the lateral and in between (oblique view) Use dark or black background while shooting.
•	Prepare yourself in a good condition, refrain from smoking, drink alcohol. Check your blood pressure and you cardiac status, eg. EKG especially those who are over 40 years old.
•	Avoid some medication such as ASA, Vit. E etc(better check your self with your local doctor.)
