Package Includes

Preoperative consult and care

Room charges: Operating room use, Recovery room, Scrub & Circulate nurse

Accommodation for 3 days 2 nights: Room, Nursing service charges, Other service charges and meals (if allowed by surgeon)

Medical equipment and medical supplies necessary for the procedure

Anesthesia: Pre-anesthetic drug, Anesthetic Medical Gas (Oxygen, Nitrous Oxide)

Medication: Routine medication used for the procedure and during admission only

	Charges for other procedures or other plastic surgery procedures
	Outpatient fees and expenses incurred before admission if required, e.g. EKG, laboratory testing (CBC, PT&PTT, Urinalysis, Anti HIV), chest X-ray

Patient Eligibility

The package is applicable for elective, uncomplicated patients. Patients with the following conditions are considered to be complex or high risk cases and will not be qualified for the package:
	Bleeding Disorders
	Patients with underlying severe medical problems that required additional treatment and investigation including, but not limited to HIV and uncontrolled diabetes

About the Procedure

Preoperative Condition	Sagging and Hanging Arm
Anesthesia	General Anesthesia
Surgical Planning	Surgical decision may include extending the incision down into axilla and back according to the skin excess from losing weight or aging. Liposuction alone or inconjunction depends on size and degree of sagging of the arm itself.
Surgical Procedure	. Elliptical transverse skin incision is made more or less over the hanging arm. The length of incision starts from just above the elbow to the apex of axilla.
Duration of Operation	2-3 hours
Admission	3 days 2 nights
Result
Postoperative Care	If no other procedures have been done along with arm lift surgery, the recovery is fast. Pain is minimal and can be remedy with pain medication. Primary wound care is to prevent tension over the wound. Patient will resume to do light work after 1 week. Strenuous exercise can be resumed after 3 months.
Road to Recovery

Risk

Generally the operation itself may have a risk of infection, hematoma, seroma, skin necrosis or late postoperative prominent scar.

Prepare for Surgery

	Send your e-photo scan for 3 views: the frontal, the lateral, and in between (oblique view) using dark or black background while shooting.
	Inform us about any allergies, any serious medical conditions, and all medications you are taking (both prescription and non-prescription).
	Avoid some medication such as aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, anti-inflammatory medications, etc. for 2 weeks prior to operation (ask your local doctor).
	Prepare yourself in a good condition. Check your blood pressure and cardiac status, e.g. EKG, especially those who are over 40 years old.
