Package Includes

Preoperative consult and care

Patient Eligibility

The package is applicable for elective, uncomplicated patients. Patients with the following conditions are considered to be complex or high risk cases and will not be qualified for the package:
	Bleeding Disorders
	Patients with underlying severe medical problems that required additional treatment and investigation including, but not limited to HIV and uncontrolled diabetes

About the Procedure

Preoperative Condition	Buttock Hypoplasia
Anesthesia	General Anesthesia
Surgical Planning	Surgical decision making is judged according to the contour deformity of the buttock, the height of the patient, and the thickness of buttock skin.
Surgical Procedure	Midline incision was made. Implant will be placed into submuscular or intramuscular or subfascial according to the contour of the buttock, height of the patient and thickness of the skin of the buttock. Radivac drains are placed in the pocket. The drain will be left in place as long as a week to make sure that there is no collection in the pocket.
Duration of Operation	3-4 hours
Admission	6 days 5 nights
Result	More prominent buttock contour
Postoperative Care	Patient is encouraged to move her legs earlier to prevent venous thrombosis. But she has to lay in prone position for at least 10 days.
Road to Recovery	There will be some degree of soreness which can be controlled with simple analgesia for a few days. Also the degree of swelling is minimum and will go away within a week. Patient will resume to do light work after 1 week. Strenuous exercise can be resumed after 3 months.
Risk	Bleeding, infection, wound dehiscence, asymmetry, implant palpable, and visibility of edge of implant are among the complication that might arise either immediately or several days later. Late complication can be capsular contracture.

Prepare for Surgery

	Send your e-photo scan for 3 views: the frontal, the lateral, and in between (oblique view) using dark or black background while shooting.
	Inform us about any allergies, any serious medical conditions, and all medications you are taking (both prescription and non-prescription).
	Avoid some medication such as aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, anti-inflammatory medications, etc. for 2 weeks prior to operation (ask your local doctor).
	Prepare yourself in a good condition. Check your blood pressure and cardiac status, e.g. EKG, especially those who are over 40 years old.
	Take liquid diet 1-2 days before operation.
