Package Includes

Preoperative consult and care

Room charges: Operating room use, Recovery room, Scrub & Circulate nurse

Accommodation for 2 days 1 night: Room, Nursing service charges, Other service charges and meals (if allowed by surgeon)

Medical equipment and medical supplies necessary for the procedure

Anesthesia: Pre-anesthetic drug, Anesthetic Medical Gas (Oxygen, Nitrous Oxide)

Medication: Routine medication used for the procedure and during admission only

Package Excludes

•	Charges for other procedures or other plastic surgery procedures
•	Outpatient fees and expenses incurred before admission if required, e.g. EKG, laboratory testing (CBC, PT&PTT, Urinalysis, Anti HIV), chest X-ray

Patient Eligibility

The package is applicable for elective, uncomplicated patients. Patients with the following conditions are considered to be complex or high risk cases and will not be qualified for the package:
•	Bleeding Disorders
•	Patients with underlying severe medical problems that required additional treatment and investigation including, but not limited to HIV and uncontrolled diabetes

Surgical Procedure

Fat can be harvested from the abdomen or thigh area. With a good care of aspirated fat, it was reinjected into the chin.

Duration of Operation

Admission

2 days 1 night

Result

Well-balanced chin shape and profile is achieved.

Postoperative Care

Apply cold compression around the chin area for 48-72 hours, then apply warm compression until the swelling subside. Cleansing mouth more frequent at least 4-6 times a day. Refrain from smoking for at least 2-3 months.

Road to Recovery

A certain degree of swelling will persist for a week. The maximum degree of swelling will be within 48 hours. While mild to moderate degree of pain can be remedied with simple pain medication. Most normal activities can be resumed within a few days.

Risk

Infection and lipolysis can occur in a small number of cases.

Prepare for Surgery

•	Send your e-photo scan for 3 views: the frontal, the lateral, and in between (oblique view) using dark or black background while shooting.
•	Inform us about any allergies, any serious medical conditions, and all medications you are taking (both prescription and non-prescription).
•	Avoid some medication such as aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, anti-inflammatory medications, etc. for 2 weeks prior to operation (ask your local doctor).
•	Prepare yourself in a good condition. Check your blood pressure and cardiac status, e.g. EKG, especially those who are over 40 years old.
•	Refrain from smoking and drinking alcohol 2 weeks before and 4 weeks after surgery.
•	Keep your mouth and nose clean before surgery .
