•	Charges for other procedures or other plastic surgery procedures

•	Other charges for laboratory profiles and medications not related to the procedure
•	Other charges not related to the procedure
•	Items of a personal nature such as in-room soft drinks and telephone charges will be charged at normal rates in effect

Patient Eligibility

The package is applicable for elective, uncomplicated patients. Patients with the following conditions are considered to be complex or high risk cases and will not be qualified for the package:
•	Bleeding Disorders
•	Patients with underlying severe medical problems that required additional treatment and investigation including, but not limited to HIV and uncontrolled diabetes

About the Procedure

Preoperative Condition	Baggy lower eyelid
Anesthesia	Local anesthesia with sedation
Surgical Planning	Surgical decision depends on the extent of deformity. If only fatty bag is the problem, transconjunctival fat removal is the operation of choice; but if the lower lid is lag, muscle suspension with trimming of lower lid will add up our surgical perfection.
Surgical Procedure	Transconjunctival incision is made to expose the bag of fat before partial fat excision with or without fat suspension into nasojugal groove. If lower lid is lag, infraciliary incision is made, lower lid skin is dissected and lifted, and excess skin is removed. Canthal tendon can be suspended at the same time if needed.

Result	More youthful lid look
Postoperative Care	Keeping on the bed for 48 hours if possible. Keep your head raise for about 30 degrees. Apply cold compression over both periorbital area for 48 hours. Take more water and liquid food for at least 48 hours. Avoid smoking and alcoholic intake until the wound completely heals.
Road to Recovery	Swelling will be at maximum of 48 hours, after that it will go away gradually about a week. Eye makeup can be done after 10 days

Lower blepharoplasty is not a complicated operation. Most patients are satisfied with the result. Though there may be a small number of cases which complication and undesirable result might arise such as bleeding, hematoma, asymmetry, prominent incisional scar, and ectropion of lower eyelid (scar pulling or weakness of lower eyelid sling causing incomplete closure of lower eyelid).

Prepare for Surgery

•	Send your e-photo scan for 3 views: the frontal, the lateral, and in between (oblique view) using dark or black background while shooting.
•	Inform us about any allergies, any serious medical conditions, and all medications you are taking (both prescription and non-prescription).
•	Avoid some medication such as aspirin, ibuprofen, vitamin E, anti-inflammatory medications, etc. for 2 weeks prior to operation (ask your local doctor).
•	Prepare yourself in a good condition. Check your blood pressure and cardiac status, e.g. EKG, especially those who are over 40 years old.
•	Refrain from smoking and drinking alcohol 2 weeks before and 4 weeks after surgery.
•	Arrange someone to drive you to and from the operation.
•	Arrange someone to take care of you the first 24-72 hours after surgery.
•	Arrange your meals and necessary recovery areas and activities in advance for 1-2 weeks after surgery.
